What’s a kid to do when visiting a fun and eccentric aunt who puts a ban on electronic devices? Forced to rely on their own brain power for entertainment, these children find themselves on a wild adventure that sparks joy, expression and… imagination!
This camp is open to children entering 2nd graders-8th grade for the 2025-26 school year.

2025 Dance Makers
Location: Marlborough Elementary School
Date: July 7th-11th
Times: 9:00am-4:00pm
Cost: $225
Dance Makers one week intensive offers our Ballet and Modern extension program in the morning and an afternoon of exploring the creative process and building your own dances. Join NHDI in a one week intensive with Abbie Hixon and Linda Estabrook that will get your dance body and mind, moving and creating.
This camp is open to children entering 5th-12th grade for the 2025-26 school year.
2025 Extensions
Location: Marlborough Elementary School
Date: July 7th-11th
Times: 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $100
Join NHDI in a one week 1/2 day intensive with Abbie Hixon and Linda Estabrook that will get your dance body moving. Choose this half day camp with technique class in ballet and modern to hone your dancing skills. You can sign up for this 1/2 day extensions program, but we encourage you to consider our full day Dance Makers Camp, which includes these extension classes.
This camp is open to children entering 5th-12th grade for the 2025-26 school year.
REACH CAMP-The Friendship Tree
Location: Redfern Arts Center, Keene State College
Date: July 14th-17th
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm
Our signature REACH Camp celebrates the unique friendships that are built through the arts. This camp is designed specific for children and young adults with special needs.
2025 NHDI Experience- The Wall
Location: Peterborough Community Center, 25 Elm St. Peterborough.
Date: July 21st-July 25th
Times: 9:30am-12:30pm
Cost: $80 for residents and $85 for non-residents
A young aspiring drummer practicing for greatness, is visited by a strange trio who immediately put a halt to the drumming. Determined to deter this musician from ever wanting to play again, there’s only one thing that can stop them from carrying out their evil plot.
This camp is open to children entering Grade 3rd-8th for the 2025-26 school year. Registration is through Peterborough Recreation and will open soon.
2025 NHDI Summer Intensive
Once Upon a Climb
NHDI's summer dance camp develops children's enthusiasm for movement and broadens their dance experiences.
Location: Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College
Dates: July 28th-August 8th
Times: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Cost: $460 Two Weeks. [Sibling discount $35.]
$230 One week option- First week only- July 28th-August 1st, 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM
The Summer Intensive is open to children entering 2nd-9th grades for the 2025-26 school year.
Financial Assistance
NHDI strives to give all children a chance to dance! NHDI has a limited amount of financial assistance available to eligible Summer Intensive students. Financial assistance will not cover the full registration fee.
The Financial Assistance Application must be completed by June 1 to be considered.
All information you provide on the Financial Assistance Application is strictly confidential.

NHDI seeks Camp Counselors and CITs to work in our summer camps.
Counselors and CITs must be reliable, hard-working, and love working with children. You will be responsible enforcing camp rules and regulations and ensures safety of the children. You must be willing to work as part of a team. This is a great opportunity for young adults to serve as role models to the children in our program and obtain leadership experience.
Counselors must be entering 11th grade.
CITs must be entering 9th grade.
