Dance That Builds Confidence: Explore Our Programs
The Year-Long Program
Our flagship program brings dance directly into the school day for students in grades 3-8. Through weekly sessions, children experience the art of dance right where they learn every day. Students learn a full curriculum of movement with accompanying live music, culminating in the spectacular Event of the Year. This program focuses on building confidence, teamwork, joy, and artistic appreciation.
We partner with schools and educators across the region to host the Year-Long Program. We handle the curriculum, teaching artists, and the performance; your school provides the dancers, space, and the enthusiasm!
Residency Programs for Schools and Community
We offer a variety of Residency Programs in schools and in the community, from all-school weeklong programs to Dance Jam Days and programs designed to fit into community recreational programming. Programs are intended to provide dance experiences with accessible movement, ensuring exposure to the arts for all.
Extensions Program:
SWAT, Minions, Celebration, eXceL, and REACH Performance Team
NHDI Special Teams provides an opportunity for interested children to grow and expand their dance and performance experiences with NHDI. This team is comprised of Year-Long Program dancers who receive a special invitation to further their dance education and experience.
Vacation Fun: NHDI School Vacation and Summer Camps
Keep the energy going all vacation long! Our school vacation and summer camps offer fun, immersive experiences in dance and the performing arts, designed for all ability levels. It’s a great way for children to move, be creative, and connect with peers during the break.

The NHDI Event of the Year
The Event of the Year is the highlight of our Year-Long Program, a high-energy, professionally staged performance featuring hundreds of students. Performed on the mainstage of The Colonial Theatre at Keene State College, It’s more than a show; it’s a moment where every child shines and the community comes together to celebrate.
The REACH Community Collaborative Team
This team is the heart of our adaptive outreach, offering a dedicated space for community members to connect through the joy of movement.
- Who: Open to community members, pairing dancers with and without disabilities to create a unified team.
- Commitment: The class meets Tuesday evenings from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM at Trinity Christian School.
- The Big Stage: The team performs in our signature Event of the Year at the historic Colonial Theatre in Keene over Memorial Day weekend—an empowering moment of shared achievement.
