The 2008 NHDI Event of the Year

Our Event of the Year celebrated the curiosity and genius of Leonardo DaVinci.  Although he lived over 500 years ago, he thought about and imagined things way beyond his time.  Did you know that DaVinci was responsible for creating the first notes and sketches of inventions like the helicopter, the parachute and the tank ??? (And that’s just to name a few!) 

One can only imagine the excitement daVinci must have felt when he thought about the possibilities his inventions held when in the hands of future generations. The NHDI dancers from the class of 2008 are embodied  the dreams of Leonardo daVinci and fast-forwarded through time to learn how our current technology owes quite a lot to his vision.
